Ngau
DescriptionThe name means 'Ox' in Cantonese. It is a card game originating in Malaysia, played both casually and as a gambling game. The game uses a standard deck of 52 cards. Players are dealt 5 cards each, and players try to get the better hand. A hand is constructed when 3 cards form points that is a multiple of 10. This constitutes an 'Ox'. The remaining 2 cards show how powerful is the 'Ox'. The power is determined as the remainder of the sum of the 2 cards, divided by ten. When a player is not able to form an 'Ox' with any 3 cards, then he is not eligible to score any points in the round. Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment.
