    Description

    This is Volume 7, No. 2 of Critical Hit magazine. (2004) This is a reprint and reworking of previously released scenarios and articles to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Critical Hit. Also included with this magazine is a reprint of the historical map of the Grain Elevator in Stalingrad.

    Included are the following scenarios remakes:

    RP #1(a) Morning in Mouen - German infantry with tank support must dislodge British infantry outside Caen during the Battle for Normandy (1944).

    CH #34(a) The Lighthouse - US Army Rangers need to clear a Japanese communications center near a lighthouse to prepare for the invasion of Leyte during the US march on the Philippines (1944).

    RP #5(a) Brandenburger Bridge - In order to capture a key bridge the Germans called on the elite Brandenburgers to take and hold a bridge behind Russian lines during the early days of Barbarossa (1941).

    CH #84(a) Every Man a Fortress - The Germans attempt to dislodge the Russian defenders in the Grain Elevator during the Battle for Stalingrad (1942).

    CH #13(a) Moyland, Bloody Moyland - Canadian infantry supported by Wasps attempt to dislodge dug in German infantry during Operation Veritable (1945).

    CH #15(a) No Farther - Operation Hubertus (1942) was the last German attempt to push the Russian defenders at Stalingrad back into the Volga. Heavy weapons, assault guns, and dug in defenders are the order of the day.

    CH #24(a) Those Normandy Nights - American paratroopers night drop on top of a German infantry company on the first day of the Battle for Normandy (1944).

    CH #26(a) Close Order Driel - German panzergrenadiers attempt to dislodge Polish parachutists from a small village during Operation Market-Garden (1944).

    CH #35(a) Obong-Ni - North Koreans attempt to overrun US Marines during the early hours of the Korean War (1950).

    CH #41(a) Test of Nerves - Close in action as Fireflies duel with Tigers for control of a village in the early days of Battle of Normandy (1944).

    CH #44(a) Operation Nordwind - German infantry with assault gun support attack dug in US infantry in an attempt to take vital bridges during the early hours of Operation Nordwind (1945).

    CH #74(a) Troteval Farm - Canadian infantry with Armor support attempt to wrest control of a farm from the German infantry defending it during Operation Goodwood (1944) as part of the Battle for Normandy.
