A deadly curse has been laid upon the land and must be cleansed!

In Mystic Vale players inhabit the role of druidic clans tasked to eradicate the curse and restore peace and serenity to the land.

Utilizing a unique card crafting system players build more powerful cards by purchasing advancements with mana. Players can then use their constructed cards to purchase vale cards and earn victory points.

If a player is too reckless and power hungry the decay saturating the land may prove too much, resulting in a turn ending prematurely.

When there are no more victory points in the pool the game ends. The player with the most victory points is victorious.

Hot To Play Mystic Vale

1 review for Mystic Vale

I just had a chance for the first time last night to play Mystic Vale. I had heart a lot about this new “card-building” mechanic, so I was excited to give it a try.

It was great! The production on these cards was very high in quality, and the new mechanic of being able to craft cards for your deck as you play the game (each ‘whole’ card can be comprised of 3 different card ‘pieces’ that slide in together into a clear sleeve).was really fun.

Overall I’d have to say that this game is a solid, relatively simple to learn and play deck builder with gorgeous artwork.. Gameplay was pretty quick and thoroughly enjoyable with just the right blend of basic strategy, pretty things to look at, and a few decisions to make every turn about which cards you want to upgrade next.

I’ve heard there’s an expansion that came out and would love to see some new mechanics added to this game without overdoing it. Definitely recommended.
