    Description

    The background of "Zaragoza 1710. Juego de Cartas de Estrategia" (Saragossa 1710. Strategy Card Game) is the Spanish Succession War, facing the french-spanish Bourbon forces against the Habsburg's alliance to take the throne of the Spanish Empire. This two players game evokes the battle fought at the gates of Saragossa the 20th August 1710. In this battle were present the two candidates to the Spanish Crown: Phillip, Duke of Anjou, and Charles, Archiduke of Austria. The players must manage these and other leaders, command the troops and use the appropiate tactics to break the morale of the opposing army and force it to leave the battlefield.
    Each player begins the game with 10 morale points. There are 76 cards divided in four categories: leaders, troops, tactics and terrain. Before the match, the players lay down the terrain cards as "board" to deploy the leader and troop cards. After, they launch his ranks against the oponent trying to reduce his morale points to zero and using the tactic cards to influence the results of the clash of arms...

    "Zaragoza 1710. Juego de Cartas de Estrategia" está ambientado en la Guerra de Sucesión Española, que enfrentaría las fuerzas franco-españolas de los Borbones contra la alianza de los Habsburgo por la consecución del trono del imperio español. Este juego para dos personas evoca la batalla que tuvo lugar a las puertas de la ciudad de Zaragoza el 20 de Agosto de 1710. En esa batalla estuvieron presentes los dos candidatos a la corona española: Felipe, Duque de Anjou, y Carlos, Archiduque de Austria. Los jugadores deben utilizar a éstos y otros líderes, comandar las tropas y usar las tácticas adecuadas para romper la moral del ejército contrario y obligarlo así a abandonar el campo de batalla.
    Cada jugador comienza la partida con 10 puntos de moral. Hay 76 cartas, divididas en cuatro categorías: líderes, tropas, tácticas y terreno. Antes de comenzar, los jugadores colocan las cartas de terreno a modo de tablero en el que desplegar las cartas de líder y de tropa. Después, cada uno lanza sus filas contra las de su oponente intentando reducir a cero sus puntos de moral y utilizando las cartas de táctica para influir en el resultado del choque de las armas...
