?????????? (Black Janken!)
Description?????????? (Black Janken!) is a shedding card game from Japan. The game uses a sock-Scissors-paper mechanism (called Janken in Japan), but the winner is the first person to clear their hand. The game has 9 yellow and 9 white cards, and 3 black cards, showing rock/scissors/paper evenly. However, the white cards show the RSP on both sides, giving information to the opponents. And if a player wins a round with a black card, that card is picked up by the loser. The game is for 3 to 7 players, and card distribution varies according to the number of players. But players end up with a random selection of cards in hand. Cards are held so that opponents can see clearly who has what colour cards in hand. On their turn, a player nominates another to battle. The players call out Rock Scissors Paper PON! as a 1-2-3-Go! call, and play their card immediately on the final shout. If the battle is won, the winner sheds their winning card, unless it was a black card in which case the loser collects it to their hand. The loser collects their losing card back into their hand, and the turn moves to the next player after the turn player. When one player has cleared their hand, they win.
