    Description

JinRoh, also known as JinRou (??), is a Japanese Mafia/Werewolf style game.

There will be 2 teams, villagers and werewolves, and a Host. The Host, who is not on either team, is chosen to lead/moderate/narrate the game. The game alternates between Day and Night phases until the game is over.

    Day Phase:
The Host calls for everyone to open their eyes and begin the first deliberations. A time limit may be established if desired. The goal is to determine The Werewolf and banish them from town. Players may “reveal” their identities and deliberate who they believe to be The Werewolf. LYING AND KEEPING SECRETS IS OKAY. The Host will call for all players to point at whom they want to banish. The player with the most votes is banished from the city and can no longer participate in discussions or nightly actions.
    Night Phase:
The Host calls for everyone to close their eyes. The Host calls one role at a time to perform their nightly action. The order proceeds as follows “Bodyguard, open your eyes and point at the person you would like to protect. Okay. Close your eyes.” “Werewolf, open your eyes and point at the person you would like to kill. Okay. Close your eyes.” (If there is more than one Werewolf, they will silently come to an agreement on ONE victim.) “Prophet, open your eyes and point at one person to see their identity. (The Host will gesture to indicate if that person is human or werewolf) Okay. Close your eyes.” “Necromancer, open your eyes. You may see the identity of the person who was last banished. (The Host will gesture to indicate if that person was human or werewolf). Okay. Close your eyes.”
Unless they are protected by The Bodyguard, the Werewolf’s victim is killed and removed from the game.

The Human Team wins when all Werewolves are banished from the town. The Werewolf Team wins when the number of remaining Humans is reduced to the number of remaining Werewolves.
