?? (Baboons)
Description?? (Baboons) is a memory game from Japan, with players leading their troops of baboons across the Savannah. In Japanaese ?? means 'secret'. The Savannah is a 4*4 tableau of face-down tiles, which might be food or water, or hazards such as cobras, leopards, or rival baboons. The players start their baboon leader in a corner and move up to three spaces. After looking at a face-down tile, a player can mark it, and must remember what the marking was for. Each player has a small board showing the size and health of their troop. The players are trying to get their troop to be the largest by the end of the game. During the game, a player might turn up a sunset, which ends the round. The game ends on a fifth sunset. There are also wildfires on the Savannah, and these cause tiles to be replaced. Players must contend with their own memories and changes to the tableau. Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment. Insert Bullet List Please enter at least one item.
