Each player takes the role of a fictional 18th century ruler trying to amass the most dazzling court, replete with the famous personalities of the Enlightenment, while paying for it by conquering colonies in the New World.

The goal is to be the most successful and enlightened monarchy by passing reforms, attracting the great thinkers and artists of the age to your glittering court, and maintaining a good reputation in world affairs, even though you will have to fight wars and do some pushing among your rivals.

Your Majesty is not a wargame, nor does it require any miniature figures. It is a pure card game, ideal for carrying to social events at court, classical concerts, and salons.
