    Description

In an affluent society, it is more important than ever to instill good financial habits in our children. Why not start with Young Wizards Smart Savings, a collaborative game designed by AXA Hong Kong and the social enterprise People on Board? We encourage parents to join children in the game and help them grasp basic wealth management concepts like saving and spending wisely in a fun interactive setting, while inculcating positive values like civic consciousness and the importance of sharing.

On their turn, each player draws three cards from the draw pile. After resolving any charity or vice cards, the player then chooses whether to save or spend. If a player chooses "save", they put any coin cards in their wallet for use on a future turn. If they save three coins in one turn, they get to advance one space as a bonus. If a player chooses "spend", they pay the price and move the number of spaces indicated on the item card. Some item cards also have ongoing special effects.

After each player has taken a turn, the spinner is spun and all players must take the action indicated by the spinner.

The first player to reach the goal at the end of the board is the winner. That player has mastered the importance of saving and spending wisely.
