    Description

XORIO is an abstract game for two players that explores the logical operation "XOR".

The game takes place on a 5x5 grid, with both players aiming to complete their cyphertext. The players each have 5 tokens showing "1" on one side and "0" on the other. The tokens each start in a player's home row. In the middle of the board are neutral tokens for a fixed bit, inversion bit, and multi-bit.

During setup, each player is dealt a card with a 5 digit binary number on it (e.g. 10010 or 01100). A player wins if their bits, from left to right, match their card. The bits do not need to be in the same row, but there can only be one per column.

On their turn a player moves either one of their tokens or one of the neutral tokens as far as they can in a straight line (without entering the opponent's home row). Depending upon the pieces that end up adjacent, various changes occur based upon the XOR function.
