    Description

The defense of Westerplatte went down in history thanks to the heroism of 216 Polish soldiers attacked by over 2,500 Germans. Attacked from the air by Stukas, shelled from the sea by the battleship Schleswig-Holstein, as well as by artillery and heavy machine guns, they lasted seven long days, inflicting heavy losses on the attackers.

    —description from the publisher

Westerplatte is a peninsula in Gda?sk, Poland. Between 1926 and 1939, it was the location of a Polish Military Transit Depot. The place is famous for the battle in 1939 and a long Polish defence (7 days) against German forces, with Polish defenders being outnumbered (216 Polish soldiers vs approx. 2500 Germans) and outgunned.

The game offers two scenarios: one historical and the other one more hypothetical.
