    Codex: Assassins is an expansion book for the Games Workshop Table Top game Warhammer 40,000. This book was published for the first time in 1999, and is for all editions of Warhammer 40,000.

    The book has 24 pages and the cover is printed in colour while the majority of the book remains in black and white, although there are several pages of colour images of miniatures.

    Background: This book contains background information and fiction on the various assassins temples of the Officio Assasinorum, the sinister organization called upon by the Imperium to perform acts of execution upon those whom an all out attack is excessive, and where a shot in the dark, a quick blade or other method is preferred.
