    Description

    War of 1812 - the Early Battles is the first of three low complexity wargames covering the major battles of the war between Imperial Great Britain and the still young democracy of the United States of America.

    This game is intended to provide an introduction to the fascinating history of America’s first major war after independence through an easy to learn wargame. Experienced wargamers will find a wide variety of situations that can be quickly played during downtime.

    The 14 battles start of fighting in 1812 until mid 1813 include: Beaver Dams, Brownstown, Chateauguay*, Craney Island, Gaganoque, Ogdensburg, Queenston Heights*, First River Raisin, Second River Raisin, Sacketts Harbour*, Stoney Creek, Thames River*, Tippecanoe*, York.

    Box includes die cut 5/8" counters, battle specific maps, terrain chart, rules and scenarios booklet.
