    Description

    Up the Nile: Wargames rules for fighting battles in the Sudan 1883-1885

    Attrition based rules system to simulate battles against the Mahdists at the end of the XIXth century.

    Folowing initiative roll - Turn Sequence:
    1. Own Commanders Movement
    2. Own Movement
    3. Declare own firing
    4. Enemy test reaction to being under fire
    5. Melee
    6. Enemy test reaction to being in melee
    7. Enemy implement melee failures

    Opponent then play steps 1 to 8 ending turn.
    New turn starts with new initiative roll.
