    Description

Two Degrees is a cooperative tile-laying game where you create a civilization that mitigates the rise in global temperatures. Grow Forests, build Wind Farms and Connect Cities via high speed rail to keep temperatures from rising by two degrees.

During the build phase, players take turns adding world tiles to their civilization. The department head of each department will record any progress. For example, if you place a tile that creates a Wind Farm, the head of the Department of Energy will move their tracker from 0 Wind Farms (red) to 1 Wind Farm (yellow).

After the build phase, players move into crisis mode where they must draw crisis cards and deal with whatever crises are on the cards. These crises will vary in severity based on a Report from a specific department. For example, the crisis card "Coal Power" will cause global temperatures to rise based on a Report from the Department of Energy. Temperatures would rise by 0.0 if the report is blue, 0.1 if the report is green, 0.2 if yellow, or 0.3 degrees if the report was red.

Your goal is to keep global temperature rise below two degrees for the duration of the game (10 rounds, each round has one build phase and one crisis mode). You'll score your civilization at the end based on the number of Forests, Wind Farms and Connected Cities you have.
