    Description

Triathlon is a game for 3 to 9 players that has more gameplay options than your typical run-based card game. These options include the ability to play Injury Cards on your opponents to slow them down, playing Adrenaline Rush Cards to take a card even when it is not your turn, and, due to the fact that every player has their own discard pile, players are given more options for selecting a card at the beginning of their turn.

The three stages (runs) needed to win the game are:
    • Stage One: A run of five cards that can be a mixture of colors and suits
    • Stage Two: A run of five cards in a single suit or all the same color
    • Stage Three: A run of five cards all being of the same suit and color

To help in accomplishing the stages, Triathlon has three suits; swimmers, cyclists, and runners, and three colors; red, blue, and golden. This gives Triathlon 9 unique sets of cards. Each set has eight cards, 7 numbered cards, and a Pro Card. Pro Cards are wild in number but cannot change their color or suit.

In addition to the cards mentioned above, the deck also contains three Super Pro Cards that are wild in number and color, but cannot change their suit.
