    Description

You reach the top of the summits, not the highest, but the most beautiful, for sure. So many tests to reach the ban.. You enter the temple courtyard, a monk logger puts away wood, he greets you and welcomes you, on your left, two residents in full meditation.

Yautman and El Choucas, these two legendary guides, congratulate you on having arrived so far...

...But rest, you will need it, they are giving you a new challenge!

The Ultimate Trek contains 3 Mountains: the bottom one with white squares, the middle one with green squares, and the top one with blue squares.
You can play Ultimate Trek in Expedition Mode (Multiplayer or Free Solo). Namely that the Shipping is done in one go and not in 3 steps. The end goal is to achieve the highest score (you don't earn reputation stars during the Trek ultimatum)

The normal rules of Trek 12 apply, plus the following constraints:
    1. It is mandatory to start from the bottom mountain, in one of the 4 lowest squares. Then, the classic rules (enter a value in an adjacent box) apply until the 3 mountains are completely filled.
    2. Each mountain has its own table for choosing the outcome of the dice. You must necessarily fill in the boxes of a mountain with the table specific to this mountain (it is for example forbidden to fill in a box of the white mountain using the table of the blue mountain). (to help you: pay attention to the arrows).
    3. The passage from one mountain to another is done only via Rope Paths (represented by dotted junctions). It is forbidden to move from one mountain to another with a Zone.
    4. BONUS: the first player to connect a lower square (therefore without a compass) with a square adjacent to a flag surrounds the latter. This will bring him a corresponding bonus at the end of the game. In the event of a tie, both players score the bonus. In Free Solo, there is no need to indicate anything since both players score the bonus anyway. Better to score it anyway in order to try to beat the absolute record of the ascent!
    5. The use of Assistance cards is possible (but not compulsory, we advise you to warm up with a simple game before!). Obtaining an Assistance Card is done in different ways:
      • Setup: Shuffle all assist cards and make a face down draw pile.
      • Each time an area of 0, 1 or 2 is made, draw 3 cards and keep one. Discard the other 2.
      • When the stack is empty shuffle the discard pile and create a new stack.
      • You can use as many Assistance Cards as you want during a game, but the limit of 3 Assistance Cards in hand is still valid. At the end of the game, the unused cards in hand always bring a bonus of 3 points!
