    Description

Treasure Island is a roll and move game first published during the 1920s in Australia. Players follow a path of 41 squares through the sea passing various ports along the way until you reach Treasure Island. There you roll specific numbers in order to collect treasure and acquire a ship to take you on a course of 31 squares for home.

Along the way contrary winds can detour your journey, you can drift off course, hit rocks and get wrecked, all of which make returning to home more difficult. First home is the winner.

At least 2 versions exist. A version resides in the Australian National Martime Museum, Sydney, with somewhat simpler graphics and classified as first edition
