    Description

Tour de Pyramide uses Looney Pyramids as components. It's a game for 1–6 players and the playing time is 5–10 minutes per player. It's intended for non-gamers, beginners, and family gamers.

The players are cyclists who participate in the cycling race Tour de Pyramide which runs through the French mountain chain Pyramide Montes. The height differences are challenging even for the best cyclists in the world and many are the cyclists who fail to complete the race.

A deck of standard playing cards is used in the game. Players draw cards to move (luck), negotiate slopes (basic probability calculation: draw one card and pay or draw a second card to pay less at the risk of paying more), catch up (basic probability calculation: basically Black Jack), overtake (basic probability calculation: basically Black Jack), and take their chances with an event table (luck). The players also have 10 stamina tokens which represent their physical endurance, and they need them to negotiate slopes and redo movement. A player who can't negotiate a slope is out of the game.

The game ends when a player manages to complete three laps. That can be a rather difficult task, so if no one manages to complete three laps, the player who has reached the farthest wins.
