    Description

How far will you go to fight food waste? Play with food to find out!

Tøm Køleskabet (English translation: "Empty the Fridge") is a game that challenges your willingness to fight food waste, by making the players make fun and/or macabre sandwiches. Each player adds one ingredient to a sandwich each turn.

Will you add the pickled herring to the sandwich with the gummy bears? Or perhaps sprinkle watercress on top of the gorgonzola?

Once the sandwiches are made, the active player in a round has to secretly pick a "most likely to eat" and "most unlikely to eat" sandwich from the ones on display.

The other players then secretly tries to guess the active player's preferences, and can score up to two points if they get both "most likely" and "most unlikely" correct.

This game was made for the NGO Folkekirkens Nødhjælp (DanChurchAid)'s 100th anniversary. The main goal of their work is to "assist the world’s poorest to lead a life in dignity, regardless of race, creed, political or religious affiliation. This focus is centered around three core principals:

    • Save lives
    • Build resilient communities
    • Fight extreme inequality worldwide

Folkekirkens Nødhjælp is also a member of the global organisation ACT Alliance
