    Description

The Mines of Pekari is a strategy game for three to six players. Each player takes on the role of the chief of a tribe of goblin miners under the rule of Zafrat, the Goblin King. During the game, you will make decisions on how to allocate your resources (ingots) by providing good working conditions for your miners, paying tolls to the Trolls of Tuuk for the use of their shifting tunnels and mountain passes, paying for mining reports, or buying items from the goblin merchants. This will be done in the face of uncertainty regarding mining conditions, the demands of the trolls, gem price fluctuations, and testing availability.

Each round, you will have the opportunity to dig from one of four mines and then sell gems that result from your dig. As you dig deeper into the mines, conditions will become more treacherous as the threat of a cave-in or the release of dangerous gasses increases. Your opportunities, however, will also increase. Word of the mines' riches will quickly attract Goblin Merchants with valuable wares to sell to your miners, and the Goblin Engineers will offer to sell you information about the likely bounty of your efforts before you dig.

At the end of the game, the goblin chief with the most ingots is the winner.
