    Description

The Long Way Home is an historical Print & Play solitaire board game based on the true story non-fiction book with the same title. The player must fly their Pan American Clipper the long way home from New Zealand on a westward route due to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Along the way, the player will face fuel problems and other difficulties on their journey home due to being out of the Pan American support network for more than half of the trip.

Game components include navigation mats, calendar mat, a tables book, and a counter sheet with various counters to location and status of the Clipper along it's route.

The player moves his Clipper aircraft game counter across the various navigation mats during his journey.

The ultimate goal of the game is to safely fly the Clipper back to the United States before February 1, 1942. Will you succeed?
