The Happy Shell Farmer
DescriptionAn Australian board game from the 1920's that depicts rural Australia farming life and advertises Shell oils and lubricants. Players start at a homestead in the center of the board and follow a path that passes various farming activities such as ploughing, milking, harvesting and shearing before returning to home. Each Farming task is accompanied with advice on which Shell oil or lubricant is needed. Players move by spin of a teetotum and if a player lands on a red square he must detour to one of the farming activities, after they reach the activity they return to the main path and continue with the spin of the teetotum. The player to reach home (square 100) by exact count is the winner. —user summary Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment. Insert Bullet List Please enter at least one item.
