    Description

    The skies of Earth have filled with the bulk of an enemy fleet. Our planetary defenses are fighting for their lives, and ours, to repulse the enemy fleet but they are outnumbered greatly. The cities of Earth are a madhouse of looting, violence and fear. Most bellieve it will be the end of our world but not all. Those who bellieve in the destiny of the human race fight valiantly to protect their homeworld and the families who llive there.
    The invasion has not been the blitzkrieg from the skies that everyone feared but a slow and methodical landing of troops and equipment which is letting us mass our forces against each landing. The Intelligence pogs have no more idea what the Ghosts are up than the average line trooper, though rumors fly fast and furioous across the global net.
    We know that our forces scattered across the sector will carry on the fight and possibly the genes of the entire human race. But dammit we wanna live just as much as the next race. So we will fight them to our last and hopefuly cost them so much they will think twice about taking us on again.
    The Ghosts may be setting us up for a trap, luring out our forces so they can destroy them more easily. Right now the fight is between the orbital stations and the planetary defense forts dirtside. The stations and forts are getting pasted but they are taking down Ghost ships with them. More than we ever expected them to. Word is every crewmen on a station and PDF are getting medals and promotions. Posthumously, of course.
    The fleet is sending for aid from our far flung colony worlds though they may not arrive in time to save us. So we must fight for every inch of soil, every ounce of water and every breath of fresh air. We are outnumbered, out-gunned and cornered. We have them right were we want them...
