Description

The Candy Shop War Card Game is based on Brandon Mull’s pre-teen book series of the same name. It is a 2-player card and dice game that tasks players with collecting hidden Artifacts which are protected by nefarious Villains who will stop at nothing to keep you from what you seek. Luckily, you have been equipped with a deck of magical candy to fend them off and claim the treasure for your own.

On your turn, roll dice to create specific combos in order to activate your candies’ abilities and to accumulate Adventure tokens on a Location. The first player to get the necessary amount of Adventure tokens on a Location wins the Artifact hidden behind it and scores points. But beware the Villains that stand in your way! If there’s a Villain at your current Location, he can damage or incapacitate you. If your health falls to zero, you will lose points. If you manage to beat a Villain’s health to zero, you will receive Reward cards equal to its level. You only get to keep one Reward card, however, so choose wisely, whether it be extra points or potent power-ups. The first player to reach 15 points is declared the winner.
