    Description

    Humanity is at its end.

Threatened by extraterrestrial Titans, it faces unpleasant but certain extinction. There is only one last (albeit tiny) hope: the TDO! In the battle against the first Titan Gaia, the Titans Defense Organisation went all out back then, and with difficulty was able to achieve a victory. Now that Titans are appearing again, most of the heroes from back then are dead, retired, or simply have better things to do than risk their lives once again. So now it’s up to you to determine the fate of humanity and defend the Earth against Titans like the fearsome lava snail Worldshaper.

TDO (short for Titan Defense Organisation) is a fast-paced, cooperative boss battler for 2-5 players. There are nine unique, likeable heroines and heroes to choose from, which can be roughly divided into the three categories of damage, defense and support. Their goal is to save the Earth from destruction by extraterrestrial Titans. Each of the four Titans has its own agenda and requires a specific strategy to be overcome.

Each round, one heroine or hero is the leader, and the remaining heroines and heroes are sidekicks. The leader rolls three dice, and each sidekick rolls one die. This allows everyone to be part of the action at all times and prevents downtime. The dice rolled then trigger the specific actions of the heroines and heroes such as movement, attack or healing. A Titan card is then drawn, which represents the Titan's actions and sinister plans, and brings new challenges for the TDO's heroines and heroes. For example, the Titan can inflict damage directly, or assert its influence on the world through markers. This sequence continues until one side wins the game.

The heroines and heroes win the game when they have destroyed the Titan. The Titan wins when it has either destroyed all three TDO bases, or when a total of three heroines and heroes have been defeated.

TDO lives from the colorful combination of Titans like the lava snail Worldshaper and the diverse heroines and heroes like the chameleon panda duo Barry & Nala, the invisible DJ Kamo Flash, or the awakened demolition robot RAM32. This mix makes each game unique and good teamwork is mandatory to prevail against the super-powerful Titans. The accessible rules make it easy to get started in the game and the heroines and heroes can be individually specialized by upgrades.

TDO is a very varied, entertaining game with witty heroines and heroes who cunningly combine their actions to save the Earth from extinction by the Titans.
