Talons & Teeth
DescriptionTalons & Teeth, a 2015 Korea Board Games contest finalist, and Scott Czysz's very first game design, is a wildlife habitat / food chain card game for 1 to 3 players. Each player is dealt one of three available habitats: Woodland, Grassland, or Wetland, then starts building their habitat with two or more food sources that fit their habitat. Then, add animals to your habitat that eat your foods. Complete your habitat by placing a predator. Cards are color coded to easily identify which foods go with which habitat, and which animals eat which food. The deck also includes Hazard and Roam cards that can affect the habitats. Cards have point values (a deer is worth more than a chipmunk). Once one player completes their habitat with at least 2 Foods, at least 4 Animals, and at least 1 Predator, each player's habitat is scored, and the player with the highest score wins.
