    Description

SyGo or Symple Go is a multi-move abstract strategy game for two players. There is a parallel to Go, because players try to control area with living groups. The goal of the game is to have more stones + enclosed areas on the board than the opponent at the end of the game.

The game follows the protocol of Symple. All placement and balancing rules of Symple apply. However, as opposed to Symple, capture is possible. A group is captured, if it has no liberties anymore. Captured stones are flipped as in Othello, meaning they change color. It is noteworthy that this kind of capture does not create liberties for the capturing group.

SyGo is usually played on a 19x19 square board.
