    Description

You are crew members of a submarine that has suffered great damage in an accident. All systems are down. The life support system is compromised and soon the CO2 level will rise to a lethal level.

It's important that you work together quickly as a team to get the engines working again and get to the rescuing surface.

SubDown is cooperative game for up to 4 people by Diego Albuja Ortiz, where you play in different roles of a submarine crew using your different skills to repair the technical equipment using spare parts before you run out of air.

Place three of the four engine cards in the center of the table and choose a crew card for each. Three markers each go into your action supply, and three more go into your energy supply.

At the beginning of a round, turn over a Spare Parts card.

Take turns placing a marker from an Action Supply onto one or more Spare Parts.

If you lack the appropriate skill in your role, you may still place a marker on the card, but you must also place a marker in your energy supply. The task has you particularly strained.

Every now and then, you'll need to rest instead so that you can replenish your action supply.

If a spare part has all the markers you need on it, you may use it to start repairing a machine by placing one of the markers on it. Each color may only appear once.

When you have completely repaired a machine with the help of the spare parts, it is ready for use again and you may turn over a training card. You can use this card at any time and use its effect, but only once in the whole game.

One allows you to take a break all together and regenerate forces. The other allows you to move up to three markers from one spare part to another at will.

If you manage to repair all three machines before you have used up the spare parts deck twice, you will survive!

If not, the CO2 level will rise too far and you will be trapped at the bottom of the ocean ...
