This set introduces the 1st new race for the Starbattle game system.

This race (referred to as ROTEX)uses Rotational Type Spacecraft (Or, Flying Saucers)which bring new effects and special rules to the game.
Booklet includes all instances where the ROTEX ships differ from existing ships.

Specific new rules are the barriers created by their unique drive system and the fact that every ship has VTOL capability.

Included are construction notes and charts showing tech levels and build information for the 24 ship and craft types available to a ROTEX player so they can be integrated in one off or campaign games

Also included is an encounter chart for determining random opposing forces. This chart includes fleet types form the original game and it's supplement as well as all three expansion sets.

The Control Sheet Diagrams like previous sets are meant for photocopying and only have the shields, armor and engines established. This leaves the player to determine the internal makeup and armament of each ship allowing for a very customizable game experience.
