STAR MARS
DescriptionSTAR MARS is a trick-taking game that was released as part of the publisher ruri ruri games' (????????) 2020 box of trick-taking games, titled ?????? vol. 6 (Trick Taking Set vol. 6). It is lightly themed as a familiar epic space opera, with one suit as the "rebels" and another as the "Mars" army; there are also 4 cards depicting a neutral ship, a Mars Kaiser card, a Princess Liza card, and a card roughly translated as Loose Landrunner. The score board includes places for both the scores of the individual players, as well as a track for if the rebels or Mars has won more tricks. Players earn points through "theme cards" that are chosen at the start of a hand. These represent predictions the players are making, as to if Princess Liza will be won by the Mars side, or if the Mars Kaiser will defeat Loose Landrunner.
