The games of ESTR can take place in urban or natural settings, the places and the races of the warriors are as varied as the planets of our galaxy. The game has no set miniatures, play with any brand and type. The rules of SSTR are original and clever in many ways.

Characters dying come back the next turn thanks to scientific advances, and the game is played in alternating activation.
