Space Station Alpha
Description“Bidding & Placement Game. Each player represents a space agency: NASA, European Union, Russia, Japan, etc. Players are working together to build the ISS (International Space Station). Players add Modules and score points.” The game is played on a chess board or other 8x8 grid. The center four spaces of the board represent the Core Command and Control Module of the space station. The space station is to be constructed out of sixty Modules represented by cardboard counters. There are four each of fifteen different types of Modules in the counter mix. Each player has a set of forty markers in a unique color that are used to show ownership of Modules placed on the space station. Victory points are earned based on various factors related to the placement and location of Modules. “Objective: The game ends at the end of the turn when all 60 modules have been placed.
