The Soap Opera in a Box

Become the director of a cheesy soap opera, moving the characters around the board to arrange meetings where, regardless of what happens to them, ratings improve.

Move to Soapbox Ratings to interfere with the other players' plans, but keep your characters out of Court or Jail, the Hospital or Asylum -- each of those places has its own risks of axing the character from the show or sending them into limbo, never to be referenced again! Characters have trysts, get married, become pregnant... not necessarily in that order. Will the young mother have a high-ratings birth or meet an untimely and unlikely end? Will there be a ratings-grabbing wedding or a spectacular and far-fetched catastrophe?

Includes both Basic and Advanced rules.
