    Description

Snerz is a tactical game of sailing missions and islands’ exploration. Players will be skilled ship captains sailing the unknown water of the wavy sea. Each player tries to become the most glorious one by accomplishing missions, obtaining money and equipment cards, recruiting the crew and enlarging the vessel. Other actions as trading, exploring new islands and plundering other captains, can be accomplished to get more power. By doing so, and by attacking other players, the captain obtains “fame points”, which eventually lead to victory and eternal glory.

Thanks to the 11 mixable components, each board will be different from the other. The panel combinations are more than 30 mln, allowing the best gaming experience. By merging the components the “game world”, with islands and seas, gets its shape.

At the beginning of the game, each glorious sailor gets a basic ship and an unskilled crew. To each one is randomly given a specific ability as well as the ship details. These are: speed (how far can this vessel go), maneuverability (crew members needed to move), holds (how many goods can the ship carry), cannons (to attack other ships). Finally there are 5 seats for the brave crew.

Before each round, the first player draws a “wind card” out. This card decides the direction of the active flows. Moreover, it outlines the goods’ productions sites, events taking place in inhabited islands and prices’ variations. Each player’s turn consists of two actions happening on inhabited islands. Those activities need to be chosen among: simple movement, entering the pub to recruit the squad, selling goods or buying a ship part. “Free actions” (healing, fixing, loading goods and one attack) are allowed as well on these islands. While, the only action allowed on an uninhabited island is the sole exploration.

The sea is calm, are you now ready to sail?
