    Description

In May 1942, after winning the defense of Moscow, the Soviet army tried to launch a general offensive against the German army. It assembled six army groups and several supporting troops to form two fronts, the Southwest Front and the South Front, and planned to regain the strategically important Kharkov. The Second Battle of Kharkov broke out.

However, in just 20 days, the Soviet army, which had lost the winter bonus, suffered a disastrous defeat in the Second Battle of Kharkov due to command errors and underestimated the strength of the German army, losing nearly 260,000 people.

The defeat was so crushing that the Soviets tried to hide it or avoid talking about it long after the battle ended.

"Schlacht bei Charkow" is an independent work dedicated by Kuro Neko Design Workshop. After at least 3 years of various physical tests, it tries to restore the most exciting Second Battle of Kharkov.

In the game, one side player will play the role of Bock, the commander of the German Army Group South, and the other side player will play the role of the Soviet Southwest Strategic Trio (Commander Timoshenko, Political Commissar Khrushchev, and Chief of Staff Bagramyan).
