    Description

Sarajevo 28th June 1914 A solitaire roll & write game.

June 1914. A plot to assassinate the Franz Ferdinand, heir of the Austro-Hungarian Empire during his visit at Sarajevo is readied by Serbian nationalists (the player). Will you ignite the First World War or will the course of history change? The game has also rules in Italian!

Play is relatively simple – there are key places on the route of the Archduke’s motorcade where either assassins’ lurk or there is a good opportunity due to the road network to attempt the assassination. At each possible point you cross index where the motorcade is with the game chart to see if an attempt is made or the assassin decides this is not a good spot – or gets cold feet and flees!

Event cards the rolling for the fanatic killer might allow you to achieve your mission or allow for a different result in WW 1 – the fate of Eastern Europe is in your hands!
