    Description

Robin Hood: The Sheriffs Revenge turns Robin Hood: Hero of the People into an asymmetric 2 player battle for Nottingham.

One person plays as Robin Hood and his merry men while other plays as the Sheriff of Nottingham, each battling to complete their own objective. Robin Hood is trying to help the villagers of Nottingham by giving them money stolen from the rich and corrupt. The Sheriff is trying to increase the bounty on Robin's head to 1000 gold coins.

The game is played in rounds consisting of 5 phases.

The first phase is the Rob from the rich phase where the Robin player draws and selects resources from the loot deck.

The second phase is the action phase where the Robin player can use resources to take a number of actions including building Sherwood Forest and giving to the poor.

The third phase is the duel phase. Both players select a character to enter into battle and simultaneously reveal. If the Robin character can and beat the Sheriff character by equalling the villain's skill level, they earn a reward. If they can't they gain a penalty.

The fourth phase is the Sheriffs Revenge phase. The Sheriff player can then do a number of actions Including raising the bounty, arresting heroes and oppressing the poor.

The final phase is the event phase where the Sheriff player draws 2 event cards and chooses one to play.

The game ends when one player objectives are achieved or the last card of the event deck is drawn.
