Raumapeli
DescriptionThis is the Rauma version of the Kaupunkipelit (City Games) series. The town of Rauma, on the west coast of Finland at the Bay of Bothnia, is a historical maritime town and seaport now known mainly for it's paper and pulp industry, close south to the town of Pori (also featured in the series) - and in many instances a rival to it! Kaupunkipelit is a series of games, each of which is basically a light version of Monopoly localized to a city/region of Finland. The games promote local companies, councils, educational institutes etc. and were designed as a fund raising effort for local sports clubs. The main differences between these games and Monopoly are: -Instead of a "street" each square on the board represents a local business. Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment.
