    Description

Punn Pyramid is a game about words and their meaning. It is based on a unique relationship that exists between some words called a Word Pyramid.

The word 'Pyramid' can be used to illustrate the concept of a Word Pyramid. When P is removed from the pyramid the remaining letters are rearranged to form MYRIAD. When M is removed from myriad the remaining letters are used to form the words DAIRY and DIARY. By removing I, R and D in succession the words YARD, DAY, and AY are formed respectively. See box cover.

Players must determine words from definitions and other related clues given. Players must solve a series of unrelated words and from one to four word pyramids.

Before the game begins, Players decide how many word pyramids each player will solve and how many of them are to be solved starting with the smallest word and how many with the largest word.

When one or two word pyramids are to be solved by each player, one revolution of the perimeter must be made. When three to four word pyramids are to be solved by each player, two revolutions of the perimeter must be made.

The winner of the game is the first player who completes the required number of revolutions of the perimeter and solves the required number of word pyramids.
