    Description

Small - 11 Allied vs. 7 German units - hex-and-counter northwest Europe 1944-45 campaign game starting with D-Day, using the factor differential plus Special Factor system of Postcard Barbarossa! and (Banner of War's beautiful edition of that,) Unternehmen Barbarossa - possible Pressed Attack *and* Desperate (No Retreat!) Defense - which makes it unpredictably good as a solitaire game too.

Army level, monthly turns. Possible early May 1944 D-Day, risking bad weather.
Shore bombardment and Allied air supremacy in support.
Atlantic Wall, bocage, Ardennes, and Siegfried Line. Special breakthrough/breakout properties for 3rd U.S. Army, 2nd British, and German 5. and 6. SS Panzer Armies.
OKW Strategic Reserve to be sent to the Russian Front (requiring Western Allies to achieve their victory objectives a month sooner) or to be used for surprise attack in the West.
    Allied 1st Airborne Corps.
    Battles are fought within hexes.
