Description

55 playing cards of irregular four-sided shape, and each card can have 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 different colour segments, plus a letter of the alphabet.
All games proposed use the same 6 simple matching rules to decide which moves are legal or not.

You can play with them all traditional card games, but the rulebook offers also 11 new and very different games to play:

1) Pentago (for 2-4 players)
By matching your cards by colour with that on the table, you must play all your cards or block your opponents from playing.

2) Polygo Word (for 2-6 players)
The object is to score as many points as possible by forming a single dictionary word of 2 or more letters, using always at least 1 letter from a previous word.

3) Polygo Challenge 2001
A solo game, where you must build a 7x7 block of cards, each matching by colour segment with at least another near card.

4) Astack (for 2-4 players)
Stacking cards you must play all your cards first, or force your opponent to pick more cards.

5) Solo 1
A solitaire game: object is to transfer all cards from the deck to three colums, and then to a final play pile.

6) Solo 2
Beat your own score by drawing cards and playing them on the table only if you can find at least one match with the previously placed cards.

7) Polywords (for 2-5 players)
By placing cards in a crossword style you must form any to or more letter dictionary words.

8) 5-Up (for 2-6 players)
A Pentago variant, where cards must by played inside a block a 5x5 cards.

9) Polygo Whist (for 2-8 players)
Win most Tricks and score as high as possible by playing every hand the highest ranking Trump or the highest leading Suit.

10) Polygo Rummy (for 2-6 players)
Be the first to meld all your cards of the same Suit with at least one segment of the same colour.

11) Polygo Shape Puzzles (for 1-8 players)
Try to beat your score or of your opponents by placing cards to form one of five possible shapes with matching cards.
