DescriptionDescription from the rulebook: Poltava 1709 is a two player game with one player playing the Swedish side and the other playing the Russian side. Each side has a prescribed number of units representing infantry, horse, dragoon, light cavalry, and artillery formations. The game is played on a stylized game board showing the area in which the battle of Poltava was fought. Poltava 1709 is a promotional introductory wargame that was given to visitors of the Armémuseum Krigsspel Exhibit (Army Museum War Games Exhibit) in Stockholm, Sweden, 2017.
