    Description

PILA is a football-boardgame where you with the help of a good strategy, accurate passing, sharp dribbling, strong tackling and a bit of luck can beat your opponent.

The team in control of the ball controls the game (has the initiative). The player in control of the ball will try to keep it, while at the same time mobilizing his players and moving them into a position to win the game. Often, you'll need to tackle your opponents to get through the defense.

The player who is not in control of the ball will do (almost) anything to come into a position to tackle and steal the ball, thereby gaining control.
