    Description

"Operation Backbone: La Invasión Aliada del Protectorado, 1942-1943" is a board-wargame for 2 players, published in the Spanish wargaming magazine Alea (#37), simulating the hypothetical invasion of the Spanish Protectorate of Morocco, as a follow-up of Operation Torch in December 1942. The game is based in the contingency plans of the Allied staff should Spain, pressed by Germany, intervene militarily against Torch.

With a classical hex & counter "I go - You go" mechanics, the Allied player must control almost all cities in Spanish Morocco to win.
