You are the owner of a very successful restaurant that prides itself on using great, fresh and quality foods from the local farmers’ market.

The walk-in refrigerator at your restaurant is on the fritz due to a freak power outage, but instead of closing for repairs you decided to make an emergency food run to replace your spoiled food. The “Open Market” is only open for so long and you have to get everything you need quickly while prices are ever changing.

When you arrive you notice that your competitors have also had similar issues and are here for the same reason. Now is your chance to keep your restaurant open and maybe stick it to the competition and make some money off of them while you’re at it.

Welcome to the “OPEN MARKET”

Draft your list of Orders from the restaurant with the other players at the market. Each Order has a payout of different amounts, but be careful not to spend more on your ingredients than you get by completing the order

. As the amount of ingredients goes down the prices go up so make sure to keep track of what everyone is buying and look for ways to trade and barter to complete your orders. You have to be fast and clever because the market is only open for so long don’t get stuck not completing an order.

In the end the person who has the most money when the market closes has proven themselves a successful restaurant owner and Open Market guru.
