Omertà: Clan ohne Plan
DescriptionItaly. Sometime in the 20’s of the last century. The clans of different mafia families fight each other in... let’s say - Naples! It’s all about honor, betrayal, contraband, theft! Every player is a member of one mafia family. However, it does not matter if you are a don or a henchman, a bookie or a snitch, a consigliere or a man of honour, nobody really has got a plan of what is going on. Who belongs to which family? Who wants to kill whom? Well, nobody knows, since there is only one code to follow: the code of silence - the OMERTÀ! Omertà - Clan ohne Plan is a card game for 4 to 9 players where one can interact constantly: No waiting between turns! In fact, the game really takes place, when it’s NOT your turn. Deal cards to your opponents and family members either in a rather clandestine way when nobody is looking or take a more straightforward approach - you decide. Each player then plays out the cards dealt to him when it’s his turn – they can make him either richer or poorer, endanger his life or see the identities of other players. He may then choose whether to take three white cards (offensive), two black cards (defensive) or whether to try to bribe the other players. After that his turn ends and he can again start dealing cards and "make them offers they can’t refuse". Think tactically: Combine different action cards to manipulate and enhance effects!
