NAMiMALS
DescriptionA party game version of that thing on the Internet where people rename animals like calling raccoons "trash pandas," skunks "fart squirrels," and snakes "danger noodles" and "nope ropes." Players draw a hand of eight Hint Cards, so you don't have to think too hard, to create a name for the animal the judge that round, the Critter Critic, chooses off the Animal Card they drew. The Critter Critic closes their eyes, or turns away from the table, so players are anonymously submitting their name creations. Once all have submitted a name, using from one to four Hint Cards, the Critter Critic reads each name out loud, as they lay flat on the table, to entertain everyone. The top 3 choices are awarded points: 1 for Third, 2 for Second, and 3 for First. The scorecard is tallied. The role of Critter Critic passes left. Played cards are discarded, Hint Card hands replenished, and the new Critter Critic draws the next animal card, and picks an animal to be renamed. The game ends when the pre-agreed upon number of Animal Cards in the deck runs out, and the final animal is renamed and scored. The player with the most points wins.
