    Description

Nidhögg dwells between the roots of the World Tree. This strange creature spends his time attacking the bark and draining the sap of Yggdrasil, devouring corpses of the Oathbreakers in the snake walled-fortress of Naströnd, and waiting for the end of time—at which point he will carry the dead on his wings. But, of course, the end of time has arrived, and Nidhögg intends to enjoy himself as the world crumbles.

With a cost of 5 Recruitment Points, he is one of the most expensive Monsters in the game. With 8 offense and defense, 1 range and 2 movement, as well as being a flying unit, he's built for war. Block, Initiative, and Terror round out his martial prowess, which he'll be sure to use with his 5 activation cards.

His active power, Vicious Blow, allows him to make a range 1 (or less) attack of 5 dice at the end of his activation, without any possibility of retaliation.

His second power, Lord of the Roots, is a passive power that reduces his opponent's defense by 1 point when he retaliates. Moreover, each attacker who wounds him at range 0 loses 1 vitality point.

An expansion to Mythic Battles: Ragnarök containing:
    - 1 Titan-sized miniature
    - 1 Dashboard
    - 3 3D tidal wave tokens
    - 5 activation cards
    - 1 A5 scenario booklet
