    Description

Middleman is an Icehouse game for two players. Middleman is like a 3D version of chess, where each piece has different movement rules. Large pieces move like bishops; medium pieces move like rooks; small pieces move like knights. The large and medium pieces are restricted to moving one or two spaces. The first player to form a tree of his or her own color pieces wins the game.

Middleman is played on a diamond sized chess board with a size of six squares across the middle. This diagram shows the board shape where the Xes represent the the playing surface of the board.
